MANISHA KUMAR

I am a University of Sydney graduate with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2018. I have over 5 years of experience across paediatrics, adults and aged care. I began my career in a rural position at an NGO, working with children and adults with disabilities in the community. I moved on to a metropolitian hospital in a culturally diverse area of Sydney for 2 years across inpatient rehab, acute, aged care and emergency working with mostly elderly people who experienced falls, pressure injuries, cognitive changes due to a stroke or dementia and more. Most recently, I have restarted work in another urban hospital as a senior in acute and palliative care.

I transitioned to the other end of the spectrum to a paediatrics NDIS clinic, specialising in early intervention for children with complex needs including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disoder (ADHD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).
